My dream is to be able to go on a cruise with my husband and kids! Make memories as a family and get a chance to also spend some time and alone ith my husband. We havent been able to even have a movie and/or dinner date together without the kids in a few years. And we will have been together 10 years this October. I just have no more living family besides my husband and kids and his family isn't fond of me and have always treated his twin sister very differently thanntheyndonhim. They go on trips together and they spend just about every Christmas in South Africa with her, her husband/his family (who are from there) and their 2 kids. It's the second longest flight they could take. But they don't invite us over or come visit us and they live 2.5 hours away, in our hometown. Our 7 year old is autistic and has a lot of behavioral issues and just takes a lot of work. And I have systemic medical issues, as well as structural (Lupus, AuDHD, Degenerative Disc Disease, etc) and have chronic pain so I'm lucky if I even get out of the house to go to the pharmacy once a month lol
Debt AND a reasonable, but nice family trip! This past year has been the most stressful I've ever been through financially. And I am all about memories and experiences over material possessions. So family trips will always be a priority over spending a lot of money on anything else. But I would make sure my debt and most important expenses for day to day life are paid first. And I don't think a family trip has to be a HUGE thing either. We've had great trips in the past that were just long weekends at a nice hotel a couple hours away. They had a lot of family-friendly things to do daily... movie nights w free popcorn out by the pool, etc. They had a fun little "waterpark area" for the kids, as well as the large pool and 2 hot tubs on the property! And a lot ofnplaces will have discounted rates if you can pay in advance. So it was quite affordable for just a once a year family trip. We went to a cool science museum, and just did kept it laid back and it was so fun. We've even had "Stay-cations" at a nice hotel and it was just lovely to get away and have dinners out together and a change of scenery. But we haven't been able to afford a trip in a few years now so my youngest two haven't gotten to experience that kind of thing... we rarely even get to leave the house and have a meal out, which were always special for us. The last time we went out was literally when my 22 month old was a newborn and I wore her in a sling and she slept peacefully the whole time and she was so tiny it took our waitress a while to even realize she was there haha.
Paying off debt and some money on the games Mexico is going to win lol just kidding 😂🫣. Don't get into debt even more
I’d live like a rockstar for about 2 hours (I can run thru that fast) But really I square up on all my debt. Then finance something to keep my credit going up
I have no debt and I'm tired of renting
