Back to a secured credit card. It’s how I started when I was probably 21/22. Was with the credit union I had since I was a child. as soon as I got approved for a car loan, they gave me my money back and bumped up my credit limit from 500 secured to a $1200 credit card with 11% interest. I had a 780 by the time I was in my late 20s now in my mid 30s I just totally took 10 steps back at least. A few things in collections then just made bad financial decisions and took a necessary risk on a business but all you can do is build a back up. It took time to get that 780 and it’ll take time to get back there.

Seems like most of us have been in same similar situations, did it once can do it again is how I have to view it. It's a little discouraging to see score dip/drop when we work so hard. Keep on...congrats on all your hard work.

What secured card do you think is the best ?? which one did you use ?
Seems as tho you see things.clearly tho. It's said the way back is thru understanding and admitting your mistakes. Keep it up and you'll learn and make smaller mistake the you recover from more easily and very quickly, if you make any at all. Best Regards
