There is nothing that credit builder services do that you can’t do yourself.

The "fastest" way isn't the best way. It's always better to pay off the debt with the original creditors when possible. Paying on time, even if it's minimum payments for a bit is best. Some will allow a deferment to give a longer grace period.

By law, all credit companies are required to make you the same offers if you contact them. Most will even forgive one months payment every 12 months if you ask. Additionally, challenge all unrecognized credit accounts on your credit report. Many companies place incorrect accounts and many misreport payments reflected incorrectly. You have the right to have your information corrected without cost to you!

Maybe I dont fully understand credit building cards because the ones I've seen, you have to make a deposit to get a line of credit for the amount you've deposited 🤔How is that credit? In some cases, you even have a fee to have this account Or am I incorrect on how these credit cards work?

I had a very bad experience with a credit repair service. They literally did nothing to help. I am doing it myself and doing much better.

Credit repair services can be helpful if they're legitimately in business to assist the consumer. Unfortunately, there's predatory lenders who shield themselves by using this term. Make sure they're a credible company. You can do a search online and read the reviews, or better yet, ask your bank or credit card company if they can refer a service. They more than anyone want you to have successful credit.

If you had several addresses you can remove everyone except your most recent one. An everything that is on each address is also deleted off your credit report. I got my score from 0 to 740 in like 7 months. But I have a few more tricks I did also.

Be careful of which credit repair service you use. I signed up to have a company reduce my owed amounts, negotiate with creditors and have negative items removed. I only wanted old debt, collections negotiated/ removed. I had current revolving debt that I was paying on that was in good standing, low utilization and building credit myself. The company end up blanket mailing all of them as if I was trying to get rid of all of it and destroyed what I had built. Charging 360$ a month to negotiate 20k in debt. Only communication I would receive was when it was time to pay ever month. Customer Service was generic and knew very little about my account. No one could tell me what had been done on my account. Very Frustrating!! I want to fix my credit more than anything.

Pay off whats necessary, aggressively dispute everything else. Its much easier than you’d think and infinitely cheaper than paying someone else to do the exact same thing

Why do I have to sign up for anouther account when I have othe app. It makes you sign in again to enter the sweepstakes. I think it's to get they're numbers up.
