Mine was lower than 500 now in high 600's inching mybway to 700. Pay your bills on time. If possible pay more than the minimum on cc charges. Once paid off, do not buy any non- emergency items on cc: or have enough cash flow to pay off before interest kicks in. I started small then worked my way up while I was working. Retired now, blessed to be able to keep the rising expenses around waist high. Still using the same strategy, just on a smaller level.
